ILBS has been a transformative force in my life, broadening my perspective and encouraging innovative thinking. I nostalgically miss the camaraderie during coffee breaks, library sessions, and interactions with batch mates, seniors, and juniors, which facilitated a seamless journey through that challenging period.

"My journey at ILBS as a PDCC trainee and later as a Senior Resident was much more than a training program; it was where I learned to grow, adapt, and take on challenges with confidence.The unique clinical exposure at ILBS gave me an in-depth understanding of complex diagnostic challenges and multidisciplinary patient care. A large part of my journey was shaped by my mentor, Dr. Ekta Gupta, whose mentorship went far beyond academics. She trusted me with responsibilities, encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, and to take on leadership roles. The confidence I gained at ILBS has given me the courage to establish microbiology and molecular laboratory from scratch at my new institute and to take the challenges that come with it. The lessons, values, and experiences I gained at ILBS continue to guide me every day, both professionally and personally."

My time at ILBS was one of the most rewarding phases of my training. The unique Transplant Virology course in the Department of Virology offered exceptional learning opportunities, supported by outstanding infrastructure and exposure to advanced techniques and platforms. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Ekta Gupta for fostering an environment where academic curiosity was always encouraged and no pursuit seemed too ambitious. I also thank Dr. Reshu Agarwal for her guidance and patience. And a big shoutout to the technical staff whose lessons taught us far more than any textbook could. This is a place where learning is enriched by camaraderie, laughter, and conversations that extended well beyond virology. It is wonderful to see the ILBS family continue to grow and thrive, and I wish the institute continued success in the years ahead.

I consider my association with the Department of Hepatology, ILBS, as one of the most defining phases of my professional journey. ILBS is much more than a training institute—it is a place that nurtures excellence, curiosity, compassion, and lifelong friendships. The clinical exposure, academic rigor, and mentorship I received here have profoundly shaped my approach to patient care and research. I remain deeply grateful to my teachers, colleagues, and the entire ILBS family for their support and guidance.

Being an alumnus of the Department of Hepatology at ILBS is a matter of immense pride for me. My years at ILBS were not only a period of rigorous clinical training but also a transformative journey filled with learning, mentorship, friendships, and unforgettable experiences. The values, knowledge, and professional excellence instilled at ILBS continue to guide me in my career
